Gagan Narang for shooting academy

Gagan Narang, we learn, has forwarded a proposal to the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh for starting a shooting academy in Hyderabad.
The Olympic medallist says, "We are awaiting approval. The state has immense potential that can be tapped."
When asked if it would be on the same lines as the Pune academy, he says, "In Maharashtra, there are over 1,000 shooters, whereas in Hyderabad, the number is still minuscule.So, until the numbers grow here, we will have a feeder academy that will rotate coaches to the one in the city."
